It works very well and honestly, I would buy it again I did get it for 25% off and it came within 2 hours so I would say it’s very great, the quality is nice, the screen doesn’t seem like it would break at all, you have my word if you want to buy it

I bought this to extend my work laptop, instead of the bulky attachment extenders, and move it! I recommended this to all my coworkers, works great for when you’re traveling or just want to work outside and still need a second screen at a fraction of the cost of other options. The setup is super easy, it has a few different options, and it’s really lightweight.

This inexpensive, portable monitor works well with my pi400 and my Windows 11 miniPC. I have the 1080 monitor, not the 4K. The display quality and the sound are adequate for my purposes. A gamer might prefer higher resolution. The monitor has 3 ports: 2 are USBC and one is miniUSB. The same buttons are used to control sound and display, an arrangement which I find a bit annoying.
Two of the monitor’s ports must be used. For both of the setups mentioned above, one of the USBC ports on the monitor must be used for external power. The monitor does come with a USBC charger.
For the pi400, the cable between computer and monitor is male microUSB to male miniUSB. For my Windows 11 miniPC, the cable connecting the computer and monitor is male USBC to male USBC.
The cover of the monitor can be used as a stand. However, this arrangement is a bit unstable. I use a small stand acquired previously for a tablet.
Bottom line: this little monitor is quite useful and versatile. It is a bargain at approximately $65. I think it will travel well. It requires 2 cables and the choice for one of the cables may vary depending on your computer ports. The cover is advertised as a useful stand as well, but I found it unstable.

Needed it for convenience to refer to and type out different docs. Bought it a couple months ago when on sale and despite the negative reviews about it, works just fine. It needs to be powered via usb c adapter or one of your pc’s usb c ports. If not, it goes blank into power saving mode. The stand is a bit flimsy but is stable if you pull the cut out tab to rest on the top and bottom edge of the cut out. (Don’t know if this makes sense but you’ll figure it out. Don’t break it though). Got another 2 units too at the last sale. Comes ready to run out of the box with the necessary cables for hdmi to mini hdmi and usb C to usb C.

I bring this everywhere with me, as it works great as a second monitor for my laptop. It’s pretty portable and the colours look great, the quality doesn’t feel cheap, and the sound quality is fine. Must buy for students looking for a cheap alternative to a second monitor. Good size too!

recently purchased this monitor to extend my laptop display. It’s like having an extra brain that just happens to be a screen! Here’s why this monitor has turned my workspace into a tech wonderland and my life into a sitcom:
The display is so crisp that I can finally see every pore on my coworkers’ faces during video calls (not necessarily something I needed to see). My laptop screen now looks like it’s wearing glasses. Watching Netflix on this monitor is like upgrading from a flip phone to a smartphone—no more squinting at tiny pixels! I feel like I’m in a movie theater, minus the overpriced popcorn and the dude who won’t stop talking.
This monitor is portable in a way that makes it feel like I’m carrying around a secret weapon. It’s lightweight and slim, so I can easily slide it into my bag and take it anywhere—coffee shops, parks, or even the bathroom for those “urgent” work moments (don’t judge).
Setting it up was easier than deciding what to have for breakfast—though I still managed to get some toast burnt in the process. Just plug it in and voilà! It’s like magic! I felt like a tech wizard casting spells with my HDMI cable. The one-cable connection feature had me dancing with joy. No more tangled wires or searching for the right charger. It’s practically a fairy tale for tech lovers!
This monitor works with everything! My laptop, my tablet, even my grandma’s ancient desktop (I’m pretty sure it’s a relic). It’s like the Swiss Army knife of screens—ready for any challenge! I can have Zoom calls on one screen while watching cat videos on the other. Multitasking has never been more entertaining!
The sleek design is so stylish that even my cat looked impressed. I caught him staring at it like it was a new member of the family. I might have to get him a little monitor of his own for his YouTube career! It has a sturdy stand, so I don’t have to worry about it toppling over during heated gaming sessions. You know, for those moments when I might have a mini freak-out after losing to a 12-year-old online.

My husband wanted this for Christmas so I got it. The price was hard to pass on and the quality is perfect! You only need one cable whereas others use 4-6 cables. It was simple to setup and quite portable. I do wish it came with a better stand such as the one in the photo showing it vertical. I’m not fond of the magnetic stand that it came with.

The image on this monitor is clear and bright. I’ve used this with my laptop with USB C and even HDMI. It’s great they include a separate power adapter for when using HDMI. I’ve tested this with several other devices using either HDMI or USB C and everything works great.
The power for the monitor and/or pass-through charging can be plugged into either USB C port.
My only complaint, which is common of most portable monitors in this price range, would be the speakers aren’t that great. However, this monitor does include it’s own headphone jack if you want to use wired headphones or wired external speakers with it.

The VILVA 13.3 inch 1080p portable display is an actual OLED display because you can test it out multiple ways:
Go to a pitch dark room and bring any IPS device like an old iPhone (SE2, SE3, iPhone 11, etc.). Find a pure black image or even a pure black video on youtube (yes these exists). You will see the display turn pitch black unlike super dark grey on IPS displays.
The colors when set to “User” or sRGB, anything other than default which is heavy blue makes the display very vibrant.
There’s also “MURA” which are OLED flaws like faint streaks or greenish discoloration when showing darker scenes/videos. These flaws are different for every OLED panel. The one I got is fairly faint and very hard to see when you’re not looking for it.
Viewing angles are better than IPS.
It is quite bright indoors at max brightness settings.
For about $ 120, it’s quite affordable but it does have a lot of quirks:
The OSD is buggy. Sometimes it blacks out and resets itself when changing HDR, Variable Refresh, color space, etc. I had to replug it sometime because it would just be a pure black display with power lights on.
I just stuck with SDR and messed with some of the OSD settings and I vastly prefer this over its HDR performance. Another YouTube reviewer also mentioned this but on a different OLED monitor.
The OSD is now BUGGED and became a basic GUI that have lost some of its features like changing color space, etc. Still looks great.
Never got VRR to work because it just resets the OSD everytime I use it.
I’d rate it lower to 4 stars due to the buggy OSD if this was priced anywhere higher than $ 120.
While far from perfect, the display is amazing for $ 120 and I do have experience with many types of displays like IPS, VA, FALDS, wOLED, Super AMOLED, etc.
