Pretty decent upgrade from a 1070, although mine keep getting green screen with a 750 corsair x PSU, after getting a new 1000X from corsair for future proofing it seems to be fine.
My 8700k still pushes 100% with this card so no bottlenecking for now and I can save up for a better system in the future.

Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT: Nice that it has 2 HDMI. Runs cool & very quiet. Dual bios. Running it at 1440p with MSI Creator @ 140Hz… plenty fps in all games including COD. Be sure to update your video drivers along with chipset drivers as well.

A GPU that displays stuff…. really well! So far, I don’t have anything bad to say about the card as it looks fantastic and works as it should. Everything I have thrown at it runs better than expected.
The only thing that can be an issue for some, is if you have a mid-sized ATX case with a 3 fan AIO installed in the front of the case. This card is about as long as they get and you will run out of room, so be mindful of that.
I run Fedora 40 Linux and since AMD’s drivers are built into the OS’s kernel, everything boots up and just works, you don’t need to install anything. Money well spent in my opinion, solid brand.

It runs incrediblely well. Minimal coil whine, hardly noticeable on mine. Fans are quiet.
My only complaint is that the support arm it comes with does not attach properly. Watched a guide and still no luck. So I went without it. I’ll get something else to support it.

After about 2 weeks of proper use on this card, its safe to say this card will handle anything you throw at it. With me being favored towards higher FPS and lower graphical settings in my games, this card is super overkill for me but I love that. I’ve played games like GTA5 and Pandora at max settings, and the card hasn’t even seen past 75c, which is really good under load. Coming from a GTX 1060 6gb card, this 7800xt is seeing around 3x the performance compared to the 1060!
Although I’ve owned this card for a couple weeks, I haven’t noticed any coil whine until I benchmarked Rainbow 6 Siege tonight. It sounds like a high pitch buzzing and honestly it doesn’t bother me since I play with headphones 99% of the time. I believe my card is on the OC mode instead of silent, so that may make a difference in the volume of the coil whine (if your card ends up having any). I only hear the whine when the card is under load, and it’s really not bad if you don’t care about an extremely silent PC.
My PC was custom built by me, and the drivers installed themselves for me when I first setup the computer. IF you’re coming from an Nvidia card, use DDU to uninstall your previous Nvidia drivers.
The white bar going across is ARGB and you can change it to whatever color you want using the TRIXX software. I’ve tried syncing the RGB to the rest of my components with the SignalRGB software but it doesn’t seem to work with that (not a big problem, just copy the HEX code you have in your other lighting software onto the TRIXX software).

The graphix car is great addition to my micro ATX build! the LED single light is pretty nifty, unfortinaly it does not sync with the Mobo (Asrock Riptide Micro atx.) no biggy on that part. All in all its a beat of a card and eats up all my triple A games. I do recommend it if the budget permits it.
