I was really excited to upgrade my monitor setup from my nearly 10 year old dual 27″ 2k to new dual 32″ 4k monitors. When I first got the monitors and plugged them in, I was very disappointed. The colors were washed out, the blacks were gray, the viewing angles were bad. I almost returned them then and there. Luckily a lot of this was mitigated the settings because it turned out the default colors settings were absolutely horrible so with some time tweaking it, they became reasonable, even decent. However, after about a week, one of the monitors started emitting a very high-pitched whine when the power-indicator light was on, (strange), but you can turn off the power indicator light, however this does not keep it from blinking while in standby mode, which would emit the high-pitched whine. Then I started getting ghosting issues on that monitor. Possibly due to bad firmware. I don’t know, but that was the last straw. I decided to spend more money and get a pair of nicer monitors, so I returned these monitors.
Honestly if I didn’t have the awful first impression, I could maybe have been convinced to keep the monitors (or, at least, just replace the one that was malfunctioning), but omg the defaults were so bad. These monitors would probably be good for an exclusively office situation, but for home I think something nicer is warranted.

I would avoid this monitor, especially being 32″ the VA panel makes it so that the colors are washed out. Additionally, there is a constant loud noise that the monitor makes during usage. Overall I would reccomend avoiding it and choosing the similarly specc’d IPS version.

I was trying to look for affordable – yet high quality monitors for my employer to order for me. I do a lot of design work on top of other tasks and this is great for that. It’s so clear, quick, and easy to set up. My only complaint is that it can’t be turned to the side. But it is a FANTASTIC quality monitor for the price.

The resolution and functionality is great, but there is a high frequency noise that can be heard when the screen is on, its not the speakers or a bad connection. i changed all wires to confirm. will probably replace it as its a constant din that gets annoying if you plan to use it as a second screen.

This model uses vertical screen refresh and does not have white corners like the other horizontal refresh models. You may need to tweak settings to get better colors, may depend on the adapter type you have.
