At what I paid ($120) this monitor is hard to beat. But there’s some design flaws I just can’t get behind, and it doesn’t perform as good in games as I expected. I looked at reviews going over overdrive settings, ghosting/smearing, accuracy and all kinds of tech specs and I decided this was my best option since I needed a monitor for the short term (before upgrading to what I’m saving up for). Unfortunately this monitor doesn’t seem to deliver the performance I expect. I’m not at liberty to say what it is without doing proper testing, but something feels off.
All that said, I’m not sure you can do better for 120 these days, but I still feel like it should be slightly more polished for the price. And like I said, there’s just some general design flaws which I feel could have been easily avoided for no change in cost… For example, there’s no quick way to change inputs (important if you have a PC and console or any combo of two devices) and if you’re using a vesa mount that supports both sizes then one or more of the ports will be blocked by the mount bc of how close they are to the mounting holes. That’s probably something I could have checked out before buying, but I can access the ones I need for now and I also couldn’t find an option I was sure was better so this one will do for now.
Its not a bad monitor by any means… I’m just very hard to please. And trust me, I could go on about micro-details for days. But instead I’ll leave you with this:
If you’re not confident in another option, then go with this one. If you think you can find something better for the price, do it. And if you have more money, consider spending it on a higher end one. My advice is to watch Hardware Unboxed on YouTube for monitor comparisons. He does some great in-depth reviews. This monitor looks and plays great for 120, even if I wish it was slightly better.

This monitor still works great for me after over a year and over 2000 hours. The picture quality is very good, I’ve also never had an issue with tearing or choppy display. Even one running 60hz instead of full 144hz. Hdr would be nice, but I don’t feel it’s necessary. Even without it the color and light accuracy is very good. Looks very sleek, and never broke or anything.

Very nice picture quality much sharper than what I had previously. Current refresh rate at 144 mhz which is also better than what I had (60 mhz). The only difference in connection is the new one uses an epoxies power supply versus the standard straight in 3 pin plug, not a problem. Screen menu is much easier and better layout than what I had before also.
The only Con is you can’t raise and lower the screen. You can only tilt the screen. Well worth the money and I prefer the matte screen that this has. Text is much easier to read on screen as well.
