Love this motherboard all I did was update the bios (very easy to do) and install ram cpu m.2 nvme put it in case and bingo started up great no issues.

This motherboard has all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a higher priced mid-tier micro ATX. The BIOS is easy enough to navigate and tweak in both standard and advanced modes. I ran into a huge snag with this board though forcing me to knock a couple of stars off. The Resizeable Bar setting which is used in conjunction with Nvidia RTX GPUs is broken. I set it to auto as my card supports the function, and it wasn’t detected as being active in the driver. Tried to then force the setting on, and then the machine started looping with a hard crash at boot with no way to get back into the BIOS GUI. Tried to reset the CMOS, and that still didn’t work. Had to finally remove the GPU and plug into the HDMI on the board’s IO, to get back in amd fix the settimg before reinstalling the GPU. Still not able to use the function at this point which is super annoying and not really acceptable at this price point. Hopefully, they figure it out and fix it in a future update

I had seen a previous review complaining about the vrm whining this mobo has, and I thought it was a fluke. Decided to buy this mobo anyways, and as soon as I turned it on, it was like I had tinnitus. It won’t stop. It’s so awful. Please if you have a way to fix this, send it my way cause I’m absolutely dying and it’s driving my dog crazy!!!

The best choice if you want to build a 12 -14 gen combo. Paired my 12600K and 5200 MHz RAM, all was detected without requiring a BIOS update.
The BIOS has a lot of features (is my first Intel build after 12 years)
It’s fully stable and the RGB led is a great detail.
VRM is amazing, this little monster can easily Handel 12700-12900K.
Also there are some great features like:
✅You can do a little undervolt
✅Enable /disable P-Cores or E-Cores.
I was team red, but Intel 12 Gen is now the best price-performance champions
Fully recommended

Great little board, fits my needs and works perfect!

This model is known to have a flawed VRM that causes consistent high pitch noise. The damn whistling sound persists even when CPU is idle. I’ve been trying to fix this issue for almost a year and THIS GUY was the problem.

Apparently, I hadn’t read enough reviews before purchasing this board. The coil whine as others have mentioned is terrible. I have fiddled with the settings in the BIOS trying to improve the situation and nothing has made a difference. There is a constant coil whine at all times even when idle, which increases to a loud shriek anytime the CPU is under more than a 5-10% load. Have read that undervolting the CPU could improve the sounds further however this is not an option for me since I have paired it with a locked i7 14700 (non K). On the upside, installing an updated BIOS to support the 14th gen CPU was a breeze, and having an integrated IO is a nice touch (although not much of a differentiating factor anymore).

Bad:
1 As others said, this the 1st motherboard that having such a horrible coil whine
2 Cold boot loops 2-3 times when XMP enabled which the ram WORKS 100% with my other motherboards
Good:
Looks like a decent motherboard but it’s not
As others suggested, stay away from Gigabytes.

I used this in my first PC build that was designed for graphics intensive VR gaming, and this motherboard is more than what I need. The only problem I had was that shortly after the build was complete, I ran into a boot error (I cannot remember what that error was or what caused it); all I had to do was uncheck a setting in BIOS, and I’ve never had a problem since. I will say that I have not experimented with many BIOS settings nor the overclocking features, so I can’t vouch for all that. However, given the features and components that it has, you cannot beat this motherboard for the price. Would buy again.

so far no complaints! Aeorus makes great products. Great quality
