   Going from a LCD makes this a big upgrade. Updated the firmware with the included usb cord easily. For some reason they include every countries power cord so that’s a waste. Buyer beware that the included power cord from the oversized power adapter is fairly short. I’m unsure if every QLED panel has this issue but it may cause you grief. Especially if using a monitor arm. Works fairly well for coding and gaming but takes getting used to. Make sure to setup 1000 nit and enable HDR in windows 11.

   Update: Beware that if you plan to VESA mount it to an arm you will need 10mm screws which are non standard for VESA. Or you will need to buy a popular quick release vesa adapter. Lame.

   I cannot recommend this product as it does not actually come with the promised 3 year warranty. I tried to register my product on the Gigabyte website as I have done with other products. It requires you to submit the serial number and a 4 digit check number to claim the 3 year warranty. My product did not come with a 4 digit check number. When I contacted Gigabyte support, they showed me where to find it and I sent them a picture of where it should be. They were surprised that it wasn’t there stamped on my monitor and then they ghosted me and haven’t replied to my support tickets for weeks.

   I’ve had this monitor for a few weeks now and it works just fine, no complaints on how the monitor performs. However, I cannot recommend a product that says it has a 3 year warranty when they don’t actually allow you to claim it since they don’t give you the information you need to register your product online. I’ve never had this problem with anything before, its pretty crazy and surprising. I’ll probably return this closer to the return window to amazon because I don’t want to take any chances on this breaking or malfunctioning and not able to use the warranty. I’d recommend going for a different monitor and don’t forget to register your products for the warranty!

   Edit: I found a phone number to call for USA Gigabyte support and finally found someone to help me out. I was originally told that the 4 digit check number was on the back of the monitor next to the serial number. This person said it should be on a sticker on the side of the box. My box has multiple stickers overlapping each other and that may be the reason why I couldn’t find a check number. They were finally able to send me the check number for my device so that I could register it and claim the warranty.

   I’m giving this a 3/5 stars because yes for the past couple of weeks, the monitor has been working without issues. But the Gigabyte support system is absolutely horrible and I almost returned this because I could not register it. I had multiple support tickets go ignored for about 3 weeks and their online live chat option from their website says its been unavailable for weeks.

   IMPORTANT INFO: According to Gigabyte, the serial number should be on the back of your monitor or on a paper inside the box. And the 4 digit Check number should be on a sticker somewhere on the side of the original box. You need those 2 things to register your product and claim the warranty. Good luck.

   Revisiting older games and newer titles, the black levels alone is game changing, and the responsiveness is amazing. I came from a 240hz 1440p samsung display to this, running off of HDMI 2.1b the contrast the colors everything is amazing and puts that display to shame. Update Nov 18th, they released drivers enabling the full 1070 nits of brightness for hdr. Game changing.

   Realizei a compra no dia do natal e chegou até antes do previsto, tendo em vista o fato de ser uma compra internacional, até que chegou bem rápido. O produto em si é estonteante em todos os sentidos, em termos de qualidade de imagem, recursos pra jogos e taxa de atualização, contraste de cores e etc, além é claro de ser muito bonito. Estou sinceramente muito satisfeito com essa compra.

   I like everything about this monitor. Great picture quality and I haven’t run into any bugs. I updated the software right away, which was easy to do. When I ordered this, I was worried about it being glossy and seeing my reflection all the time, but it has a really good anti glare coating that makes reflections all but unnoticeable.

   So I do have a lg oled tv so I know how they look but I was shocked with this monitor keeping up with my tv. I have it hooked up with my laptop 4070 Nivida usbc-display port with the I want to say 2.1 maybe 2.2 standard. Started up one of the current graphical beauty Horizon forbidden west and it delivers a very impressive picture. This is why you go oled for that extra clean and colorful pop that nothing else does. Lights and light sources actually look like they are shining through the screen at you. Gigabyte I didn’t know you prior to this but you have a fan.

   I purchased this monitor for my desktop PC, on which I do everything under the sun. This is one of the new monitors based on the the Samsung QD-OLED panel that is 4K and 240hz. This particular monitor is the only such one with Display Port version 2.1. Gigabyte makes a reasonably high quality product, and has so far addressed the main bugs with the monitor with regular firmware updates. The image produced by this monitor is second to none. I have been extremely satisfied with doing CAD, editing documents, and especially with playing games on this monitor. I even keep it in HDR mode on the Windows 11 desktop (in spite of the mess MS makes with colors). If you have the money and appreciate high contrast imagery, then by all means get this monitor.
