   📦 Mon premier coup d’œil :
   À l’ouverture de la boîte au packaging réussi (nouvelle boîte noire et verte pour la marque alors que traditionnellement c’est du jaune), je découvre un smartphone en mode incassable au design très réussi. Il est fini le temps des smartphones incassables affreusement moches. Je suis vraiment satisfait de ce premier coup d’œil car le téléphone respire la qualité. Mais passons au test maintenant, pour vérifier ce qu’il a dans le ventre !

   👨‍🔧 Mon test :
   ◾ contenu : le téléphone, le chargeur, le câble USB-C, l’outil pour déloger la carte SIM, un verre trempé avec son kit d’installation et la notice d’utilisation.
   ◾ taille : l’écran est un 6,58 pouces (mesure de la diagonale) soit 16,71 cm. Sa taille est de 17,85 cm x 8,31 cm x 1,79 cm.
   ◾ poids : il est de 365g ce qui est assez léger pour ce type de téléphone.
   ◾ batterie : c’est du 10 800mAh. Bien entendu tout va dépendre de la façon d’utiliser le téléphone (appels, vidéos, internet,…) et de la fréquence, mais on peut compter en moyenne sur 2 à 5 jours d’autonomie. A noter la possibilité de charge rapide de 18W.
   ◾ mémoire : on est sur du 20GB et sur du 256G en capacité de stockage. Une vraie bête de course ! C’est fluide, rapide, l’ouverture et l’utilisation de plusieurs applications en même temps se fait bien entendu sans problème. Et on a un bel espace de stockage.
   ◾ photos/vidéos : là c’est du classique avec 50MP et une AI qui fait le nécessaire pour avoir de belles photos.
   ◾ robustesse : il résiste à une profondeur d’eau de 1,5 m pendant 30 minutes, il résiste aux chutes de 1,5 m et il résiste à la poussière. Les normes supportées sont les suivantes : IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H.

   📊 Mon verdict :
   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
   5 étoiles pour ce smartphone incassable, complet et performant.

   Gutes Smartphone mit riesigem Akku der auch als Powerbank dienen kann. Natürlich ist es von der Performance kein iPhone oder Samsung aber dafür bezahlt man auch viiiiieeeel weniger.
   Dafür bekommt man für wenig Geld ein robustes und tadellos funktionierendes Smartphone mit vielen Features die andere nicht haben. Mit dem 18w Ladestecker lädt der Akku auch echt schnell.

   I’ve been using this phone for a couple of months and I’m thrilled with how great it’s been. There are a couple of small issues I’ll get to later, but overall I really love the benefits:

   PROS:
   – It looks super cool. The superhero-gadget-like shape, the holographic emerald green effect on the back, the huge camera ring.
   – It’s very rugged. Although I haven’t dropped it off any insanely high ledges yet, it has held up to normal drops and other rough handling without any dings or scratches. No case needed!!
   – Battery life is unheard of in a smartphone! I literally go 2, 3, 4 days without charging it. I can drive 6+ hours with the screen + GPS fully on, and not worry about the battery getting low. *CAVEAT* – when the battery DOES get low, it takes so long to charge back up, even overnight I can’t get it to 100% except with a really-high-watt fast charger.
   – It’s actually really fast – all the software I’ve tried to use on it works great (nothing crazy intense like 3D games, just everyday social media, work apps, maps, shopping, and basic photo/video editing). RAM and storage, not to mention a large and powerful battery, all make this a pretty good phone on the inside. All the bells’n’whistles on it work, including easy SIM compatibility, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, biometrics, hotspot tethering, and the special hotkey on the side for launching a camera, flashlight, or your favorite app.

   CONS:
   – It’s heavy. I mean, it’s heavy as a feature. But still, a bit of a struggle if you want to lay in bed scrolling the feed and this one-pound brick might fall on your face any moment.
   – The cameras are just OKAY. Although there is some “AI” baked into the native camera app that can detect scenery, people, landscapes, food, etc… the picture quality is not as crystal clear as you get on some of today’s top-of-the-line phones. Taking photos/videos in the dark is even worse, you can forget about low-light photos. The flash is bright but for whatever reason doesn’t sync up with the camera very well. For example, the flash will totally wash out anything in the picture with bright white as if the camera didn’t adjust the exposure settings. Once in a while the flash and shutter will actually go out of sync by a millisecond, resulting in a flash followed by a dark photo. Don’t be fooled by the giant lens on the back, it’s just a “regular” mid-grade lens surrounded by a very large circle for coolness.
   – It overheats. Actually, you can’t feel the phone get TOO hot yourself, but the sensors warn you that it’s overheating, especially if you’re charging the device while also using it. I attribute this to the heavy metal case and inadequate ventilation or lack of heatsinks. Once you start charging that large battery it can’t dissipate the heat enough. (The solution is to charge it when you’re not using it, like overnight. And because of the long battery life I rarely NEED to charge it during my day-to-day).
   – Cameras get scratched. Although the entire devices is extremely durable, and the screen + back & body show absolutely no signs of wear, the main camera on the back is raised a couple of millimeters from the rest of the body and THAT glass is not scratch-resistant. I’d have expected some more protection around the lenses but this one area seems to be an oversight.

   En una auténtica pasada, es robusto, pesa más que cualquier otro móvil (lo sabía, lo pone en las características) aún así ofrece unas prestaciones que me han dejado alucinada, después de una carga completa y de usarlo bastante y estar con el móvil bastante tiempo para familiarizarme con el, la batería duro mas de 3 días. Hace unas fotos estupendas, se escucha perfectamente. Aún no sé me ha caído nunca, pero estoy segura que no pasará nada

    I don’t think the rugged should literally translate to being ‘heavy’ but this rugged smartphone is exactly that – it is one of the heaviest phone I’ve owned which weighing at 20.5 oz. Here is how this turned out:

    1. I use Google Fi for phone service and yes, Google does cellphone service too. It works without any problem with Google Fi.

    2. The download speed at 5G is as fast as my other Galaxy phones.

    3. The expansion slot to take in a MicroSD card works as expected. I miss this feature the most on the current Galaxy phones.

    4. Android OS updates and works without any problem so far. Google Store and my Google account syncs up with my other devices. It does not come with any bloated apps so I can keep it leaner than my Galaxy phones.

    Would I recommend this to other family or friends? Not likely at the price it is selling but if you are into purchasing the phones – especially the unlocked phones like me, from Samsung directly – then this would work as long as you don’t mind the weight. As I was taking my garbage out the front driveway with this phone in my shorts, it dragged the pants to my knees as soon as I got outside the side door.

    Nice phone, very good camera and functions for customization. The ram on this device is incredible, so many apps can be open and the phone wont slow down, very good for gaming and the size its great since its used to play and a lot better than playing with a credit card shape and size phone.

    The feel of the phone when playing sideways reminds me of the gameboy advance but with a lot better quality of image. Easy copy from android to android and double the space of what i had on my last phone, after copy was done in 4 minutes, I had my settings apps and everything set as my old phone. underwater feature tested at 20ft under with success and no damage at all, just be sure to have the charging port sealed.

    Truly rugged phone, custom function button is awesome since this is was a gift for dad, fav app on one click of the custom button, underwatercamera on double click, flashlight on hold. That all he uses so he only goes around the phone to find more about it and how to improve his usage.

    May get warm when charging with high speed chargers, does not affect functions or usage. Loved the underwater camera feature and controls, easy and simple to use.

    Muy buen telefono móvil 100% recomendable, lo mejor es lo rapido que va y la gran capacidad de almacenamiento qur tiene, ademas de lo que le dura la batería es una brutalidad. Muy recomendable si trabajas en trabajos como fabricas, talleres, obra… E incluso como movil para oficina gracias a la funda irrompible. Excelente calidad precio
