Just received the product and so far very pleased with my purchase. The base is sleek and simple with solid build quality, made for easy assembly without needing instructions. The screen is actually thinner than I expected making it efficient at saving desk space. It’s adjustable to practically any angle you’d need. I’m using as a second monitor for work so the picture quality is perfect for my needs— I’d imagine you’d need a more advanced device for a good gaming experience though as it could be a touch clearer. Screen glare is minimal, the picture doesn’t do it justice to be honest. I work with direct sunlight behind me and do not have issues viewing the screen.

I bought this monitor with the intention of plugging in a Fire Stick and using it as a TV in the kitchen. The sound on the built in speakers is pretty bad. It’s the same sound quality of a speakerphone. I knew if the sound was bad I could always use the audio-out port. I plugged in some computer speakers and the sound is great. If anyone is buying this monitor to use as a TV you will definitely need to get speakers as well.

The monitor is very thin which I like.
I dislike that the base isn’t flat so that I can’t place stuff on it without it falling off.
24″ in definitely the limit of what 1080p will be adequate on though.
I’m just mad I bought it on black friday and then on cyber monday it went down in price >:(

Bought this to game on with switch and Xbox, works amazing and great picture quality! I do wish it had more than one HDMI port, but the cord clip make it easy so switch HDMI cords when needed.

I’ve had this monitor for 3 months now and I’ve had zero issues! The picture quality is amazing, it has built in speakers (they don’t get very loud in my opinion so I bought separate speakers) the screen size is perfect. I like that it adjusts up and down and it tilts to make it easier to plug in wires. I highly recommend this monitor! I think I’ll buy another 🙂

Monitor is clear and works great with my MacBook via the USB-C connection which allows me to display video and charge my laptop at the same time. However, the built in sparkers for the monitor absolutely suck, and are barely useable in my opinion. Overall pretty good monitor for the price though.

The monitor comes well packaged and protected in its box. And it looks good. The design is very flat though it bulks out at the bottom for the mount, ports, speakers and controls. The bezel is quite thin, again other than at the bottom. Image quality is as expected, nothing spectacular but not at all bad. Out of the box, I found the picture a bit too dark but I adjusted brightness and contrast and am quite happy with the result now. I’ll be using the monitor primarily with my work computer but I did test it’s performance out with a few apps and games and found the picture to be clear, sharp and bright with all of them. Colours were solid and saturation was sufficient. The monitor does provide a fairly wide set of settings you can adjust to suit your particular needs. Sound from the rear facing speakers was what you should expect: weak and tinny, but I don’t expect to be using them much. If I need sound, I’ll run it direct from the PC.
The box included everything except a user manual. I got what looks like a quick-start sheet, and several warranty and safety sheets…but no manual. A quick search of the Acer site turned one up and I now know what the buttons do though to be fair, accessing the on screen menu is fairly straightforward.
Somewhat disappointing, though, is the lack of a VESA mount on the back of the monitor. There are two holes, but no adapter thus if they are the mount, it’s a variant I’ve never seen before and unusable by me. Another reviewer mentions that he was unable to find an adapter on Amazon or the ACER site and neither was I. The Amazon page clearly states that this monitor has a 100mm vesa mount but half a mount isn’t useful. I actually had intended to use the stand but I would have liked the option to do otherwise and am disappointed by the inaccurate advertising.
The base certainly feels stable enough and offers full rotation and good tilt. I was somewhat alarmed at seeing the short post height but it mounts to the bottom of the monitor and thus provides ample height above my work desk for comfortable viewing. I have noted that the single screw securing the post to the base does, however, work itself a bit loose if I rotate the monitor. A drop of locktite quickly sorted that issue however.
Finally, the power block is somewhat large, about twice the size of a typical phone recharging block. I’ve never had a monitor with a power block on the end of the power cord before. As another reviewer noted, it certainly can block adjacent outlets on a power bar so fair warning.
For a bargain price monitor however and the above points considered, I still expect it should work well for what I want. We’ve had several ACER laptops and monitors over the years and I haven’t had significant issues with any of them finding the ACER brand to be quite reliable. Hopefully this monitor will be as well.
