All the things you read about this like battery life, clear bright display are true. I bought the Delta a couple years ago and just couldn’t justify the cost with the dim LCD display so I returned it. Finally they put out an AMOLED display. No significant complaints other than price. No watch ever made is worth this price in my opinion.

I have owned my Garmin Epix for over a month now and it has been attached to my wrist the entire time except when charging. Overall I have enjoyed the many features it and the app offers. It has a safety tracking feature, when setup, you can include others to follow you during certain activities such as riding a bike. It also offers incident reporting so when it detects an incident during an activity it will automatically notify a contact. I set this up for my biking activity. My wife could watch where I was on my trips and be alerted if something happens. I was struck by a car while riding, coming to a complete stop, and then dropped to the ground. I was not seriously injured but the police and ambulance came. I had cuts, bruises, and a great deal of hip pain from the impact. Garmins incident detection did not repond. The watch was not hit or damaged from the accident. So if getting hit by a car and am laying in the middle of a street does not active an incident detection I have to wonder what will. It was disappointing it did not work when I needed it the most..

Upgraded from the 6s. This watch lasts over 2 weeks on a single charge. Excellent options and easy to use. The touch screen is a cool feature and takes a little getting used to from using side buttons for so long.
The apps and such used for the app provide a lot of data and tracking options. If you like stats and data, this watch will certainly keep you busy.
Activity tracking is decent, doesn’t get in the way when doing weights or other work outs. Garmin and its sapphire glass magic makes this watch pretty durable. There have been a few times when it’s bounced off the floor or a door frame and no scratches or dents. I’m pretty rough on my kit/gear.
Enjoy your new watch!

I’ve had everything from the Moto 360 ten years ago to the newer Pixel watches, they’ve all disappointed in some way.
This watch is amazing. Feels great, sensors are spot on when comparing to medical pulse oximeters, built in compass that actually works, steps are counted accurately, screen is readable and the glass is incredibly hydrophobic.
Battery lasts for 10 days, 10 full days, with heart rate tracking every second, sleep tracking, etc.
The built in flash light seemed like a gimmick but it’s fast become my favorite feature, auto red strobe light when tracking an outdoor workout, bright white flashlight when you need it, red flash light to see at night when camping or hiking.
Maps saved offline on the watch which includes trails.
My first one did stop booting after 3 months and Garmin sent out a brand new replacement overnight.
Zero complaints, and I complain a lot.

Had a Fenix 5 for about 7 years, was ready for an upgrade to get some better sensors and more functionality. I was also excited to get Sapphire glass since I’m rough on everything and the integrated flashlight. The display is really nice and much much brighter and easier to read. Tracking seems more accurate both with GPS and for heart rate and such. Absolutely loving this watch and hope to have it a long while.

Heart rate monitor, works best at lower heart rates use strap for exercise. Exercise monitoring, AMOLED lighting fantastic night and day better than remix 3 it replaces, flashlight and find your phone accessories I didn’t know I needed, still getting used to it only two weeks old. Owners manual 160 pp!

Recieved the watch in good condition, well packed and protected. It’s standard Garmin packaging, nothing out of the ordinary, which is good. Watch was as expected, everything was as described, seal was intact. Great deal considering what other sites are still retailing it for.

This watch has lots of cool and useful functions and in spite of being a bit chunky, feels fine on my wrist while running. I like being able to customize the face style and colour and create my own custom “hot key” buttons for quickly accessing functions I use more often. The sapphire crystal seems indestructible and the battery life is pretty good with the “always on” setting and really good if you enable the battery conservation mode. The GPS functionality and tracking seem good and the watch integrates nicely with the Garmin Basecamp app. I would def buy again.

I replaced my apple ultra with this watch and I like it much better. It’s a lot more durable than the apple ultra. The ultra is to fragile and delicate apple should call it apple fragile not ultra lol.
Lots more exercise features on the garmin and much better battery life

Upgraded from a Forerunner 935, which has been great and rock solid for years. The Epix Pro blows it out of the water in almost every way! Love this watch so far. I had some concern that it might be too big and chunky, but it’s perfect (47 mm). It may seem silly, but the flashlight was a selling point for me, and I find it even more useful than I imagined. It is exceptionally handy, and I live the strobe feature when running. Only thing I question is whether I needed the Sapphire since I slapped a glass screen protector on it anyway. But I figured if I’m going to spend that much on a watch, I want the screen to stay perfect.

Coming from an AW5, I wasn’t sure how a garmin would be. After reading reviews and settling on the Epix Pro 47mm sapphire vs the fenix 7 pro SS, I’m shocked by this watch. It does so much more in terms of activities and health tracking compared to the Apple Watch. I do miss some of the “smart” functionalities of AW like responding to texts, and emojis and certain app uses, but the Epix features blow AW out of the water. I did order the 51mm just to see how it would look like, but so far, the 47mm looks just right on my 168mm wrist. The 51mm has a few more days of battery life, but realistically, I’m not going to be outdoors and away from home more than a night 99% of the time anyway.
