It’s hard to find basic TV’s. No smart functions, which was great for my mom who doesn’t stream or have internet. Simple to use but as expected with this size, sound isn’t great. A$50 soundbar fixed that. Reliable, these is the second unit. The first is still working 5+ years.

The unit came unharmed through the postal service. I set it up to replace another I have for 16 years, and it flew through the setup. I really like the remote that has a lot of hand control features! I’m so pleased with it that I ordered a second unit for the future. I do not like those Smart (so called) screens where one needs to like into a service to get results or set up, no, I hate them! Just a way to reach into your life style. Also with this unit I can play our DVD player- nice! Thank you Westinghouse. I also have a 950 watt generator by Westinghouse. It also works fantastic!

We bought this as a replacement tv for the living room. Let’s start with the sound quality, it’s horrible. Had to turn the tv up to about 3/4 volume level to be heard. Decide to buy a sound bar, plugged it in initially to the headphone jack on the back, better sound level, but it would static randomly, when there was any slight vibration the plug would mess up. Bought the optical patch cord, that fixed the static issue, but since you cannot turn the speakers off when you have a sound bar attached, it’s annoying because you have to run the volume all the way down on the tv and then use the remote that came with the sound bar to control the volume. Just what I want, another remote on the table. Now on to tv reception, it does fine if all you are doing is streaming, but OTA is a hot mess, I can be watch a channel on our other tv and it will not be working on this one, it constantly looses channel, most of the time while you’re watching it. Ended up having to buy another tv to replace this one.

It’s a nice little Telly! Easy to set up, very nice picture, very lightweight and easy for one person to get it all ready to go. I think it only weighs about 4.5 pounds. I really think it would behoove them to beef up the speakers a little bit. It truly sounds like an old transistor radio. That is the main complaint.
I am also having trouble getting my Fios remote take over the volume controller. It controls channel selection but not the sound, so I have to keep two remotes handy. Could have something to do with the terrible audio, which is as I mentioned is really poor quality and probably not compatible with other devices.
Edit: After one week, I have learned to adjust to the audio shortcomings and find that the product was a very good buy for the price. I have also been reading comments about a sound bar and may look into this. This television replaced an early flatscreen 26″ WS Sharp AQUOS, pre-HDMI technology and heavy as a bear. The audio was stellar, so I had gotten a bit spoiled. All in all, I rate the new TV, 8/10

This item took the place of my Samsung 27 inch I had for 9 yrs but a replacement of that brand was all over $700.00…this Westinghouse 32 inch TV has a quality HD picture…choice of Standard or Surround sound…connects to Wifi…my Firestick…analog box…antena…& my old school DVD/VHS player…plus a very easy to learn remote control…..( Very High Quality Item)
